NECC 2006-National Educating Computer Conference

Thousands of educators attended NECC 2006 at the San Diego convention center on July 4th-7th. It was an awesome experience and each year it gets better and better!
The NECC conference provides a variety of learning experiences:
  • Hour long Concurrent Sessions
  • Workshops (free & $$)
  • SIG (Special Interest Group) meetings
  • Birds of a Feather Round Table discussions
  • Keynote Speakers:
  • Hands-On Open Source Demos (my favorite-wg)
  • Poster Sessions, Global Gallery, & Student Showcase Sessions (These were two hour exhibit-style sessions displaying classroom projects, curriculum, staff development, & administrative ideas.)
Next year, //NECC 2007// will be closer to home in Atlanta, Georgia June 24th-27th!
